David Silva injury Manchester City star suffers possible broken cheekbone and collarbone in clash during West Ham match

There was serious concern for the Blues star who was given oxygen by medical staff who treated him for eight minutes on the pitch at the Etihad Stadium
Manchester City face a nervous wait for news on the condition of David Silva after the midfielder was stretched off during Sunday's clash with West Ham.
Silva was left prostrate on the turf after appearing to take an elbow to the face during a challenge with Cheikhou Kouyate.
And he required a lengthy period of treatment
whereby a neck brace was applied and oxygen given by the waiting medical staff.

He was eventually stretched off to be replaced by Samir Nasri to warm applause from both sets of fans at the Etihad Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini will hope that the Spaniard, who was in fine form prior to the injury, will not face a spell on the sidelines.
Silva has been taken to hospital with a possible broken cheekbone and collarbone.
